ABOUT US.

Abbey Mill Childcare Ltd is a purpose designed nursery within the Abbey Mill Business Centre, Seedhill Road, Paisley. The nursery is easily accessible on foot, by car or public transport. We are also close to the airport  and M8 and our ample parking facilities make us an ideal choice for commuting parents.

Proprietor: MEG DALY

As a mother of three young children I understand the importance of finding good quality childcare and, with this in mind, I am striving to take some of the hassles and concerns out of choosing a nursery by providing a service which is very much child and parent orientated. I am a Qualified Nursery Nurse and SVQ Childcare Assessor with over 20 years experience in the childcare sector. As well as an HNC in Childcare and Education, I hold a Montessori Teaching Diploma which qualifies me to teach children following the methods of Maria Montessori ( MONTESSORI METHOD for more details ) Having worked in various settings and been a user of childcare myself I have seen all aspects of the business and intend to use my experiences to provide a service which will be second to none! 

 OUR SERVICE.

The nursery provides full and part-time childcare for children aged 0 - 5 yrs, including free nursery sessions for 3 - 5 year olds. We provide a wide range of early opportunities for babies to pre-schoolers to enhance growth and development. This is offered alongside affection, care and nurturing.

 

STAFF.

All our staff are employed for their love of children and the job (an essential element of nursery work!) as well as their qualifications and experience. We aim to acknowledge the role of our staff within the nursery to create a happy workforce.

 
We operate a Keyworker system which means that each child has a member of staff allocated to them who has overall responsibility for keeping your childs Developmental Records up to date and planning activities for your child. All the staff are responsible for all the children but this staff member is your childs special someone!
